Accessibility at Alcove
Last reviewed: July 13, 2026
Alcove is committed to making its website and mobile experience usable by people with disabilities.
Our Standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our engineering target. Accessibility is part of design, development, testing, and content review rather than a one-time certification.
Measures We Take
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and text alternatives.
- Keyboard access, visible focus indicators, and minimum touch-target sizing.
- Color contrast and layouts that support text resizing and narrow screens.
- Reduced-motion preferences and information that does not rely on color alone.
- Automated checks plus manual keyboard, zoom, and screen-reader review before public releases.
Current Status
The public information pages have been remediated against automated WCAG 2.2 Level AA checks. The mobile app remains a beta and is still undergoing manual VoiceOver, TalkBack, Dynamic Type, switch-control, and real-device testing. Location accessibility details are estimates and should be confirmed with the official land manager.
